Overcome Evil With Good

Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Devotional
Kindness is powerful. When someone is unkind to you, it may feel natural to respond the same way. But God teaches us a higher way. The Bible says we should overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
Think about what happens when you turn on a light in a dark room; darkness disappears immediately! In the same way, love and kindness are stronger than unkindness. Jesus showed us this by loving people, even when they treated Him badly.
When you choose to forgive, help, and speak kindly, you shine God’s light in a dark world. Your good actions can help others see God’s love. So always choose good, no matter what anyone does to you. You’re God’s shining light, and light always wins.
Prayer
God is in me, and His love is shed abroad in my heart. Therefore, I’m full of love towards everyone around me, and His love is seen and heard in my words and actions always. Amen.
Salvation Prayer
O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He's alive today.
I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I'm born again.
Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I'm now a child of God. Hallelujah!
