SEE THE WORD IN PICTURES ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). When you study the Scriptures, learn to do so with pictures; see with the eyes of your spirit; believe and act accordingly. It’s the blessings that your spirit takes a hold of that’ll manifest in your life. Therefore, as you listen to, or study the Word, visualize your victory, prosperity, health, peace, progress and success from within, and affirm accordingly. Before the physical manifestation of the glory and victories that you desire in life, you must see them first within you. Once you can see it from within, then it’s yours. You can never have it on the outside if you didn’t first have it within. That’s where some have missed it. They want to see first with their physical eyes before calling it real; that’s not faith. Faith is calling real that which the physical senses can’t perceive. For example, God said to Abraham, “Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee…” (Genesis 17:5-6). Abraham first had to visualise himself as the father of many nations. At the time God spoke to him, he was ninety-nine years old, and Sarah his wife, was equally old and barren. Nevertheless, the Bible says, “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20). In Genesis 15:5, the Lord had said to him, “…Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and … So shall thy seed be.” Abraham believed. He saw the picture of his uncountable descendants–numerous as the stars–from within. What is it that you desire in your life today? Is it a child? See it inside first. Is it the growth and expansion of your church, a new job or business? Create the picture and take possession in the spirit, and with your spirit, first, because it’s already real in the spirit-realm. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the gift to comprehend the wonderful blessings you’ve prepared for me to enjoy in Christ. I visualize my victory, prosperity, health, peace, progress and success in your Word by the power of the Holy Spirit, and take possession of these realities through my faith proclamations. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, and indeed, I have a goodly heritage. Nothing else is worth living for

ROR TeeVo Pastor Chris Tuesday, June 1 KEEP A “LIE-FREE” TONGUE (The Word Of God Is Truth, So Speak It Always) TO THE BIBLE Colossians 3:9 TLB ”Don’t tell lies to each other; it was your old life with all its wickedness that did that sort of thing; now it is dead and gone.” LET’S TALK In this year of preparation, lying is one habit you ought to kick out of your life entirely because of its dangerous consequences. God’s Word is truth (John 17:17), and the Holy Spirit is known as the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13). Truth always dodges liars, and God builds up a resistance against those who don’t celebrate the truth. The more they lie, the more He resists and avoids them. A liar isn’t merely a person who told a lie; he’s the one who makes a habit of lying; he fabricates lies. Revelation 22:15 tells us about such people: “…Outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” This shows the liar plans or strategises his lies. He knows what he’s saying is wrong but still goes ahead to say it anyway because he or she is self-centred. A liar is also one who says something contrary to God’s Word. The Bible says, “…Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar…” (Romans 3:4). As long as a man’s confessions are inconsistent with God’s Word, then they’re lies! For example, the Word says in Romans 5:1: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” If you’re born again, you must accept and walk in His righteousness. If you keep saying, “No one can really be righteous before God,” that would be a lie because it’s inconsistent with what God has said. 1 Peter 3:10 TLB tells us something instructive: “If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies.” You can’t be speaking God’s Word and at the same time lying. That’s a contradiction. The man who lies to others doesn’t deserve the truth because he doesn’t tell the truth. But if you’re a young man or woman of truth, the truth will promote and protect you (Psalm 91:4). Hallelujah! Go Deeper Isaiah 44:25; Proverbs 12:19 Pray Dear Father, thank you for teaching and instructing me through your Word how to live successfully. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who leads and guides me to walk in truth. I’m lifted to a higher level of glory, where I manifest your excellence and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Daily Bible Reading ONE YEAR John 16:17-33, 1 Chronicles 7-8 TWO YEAR 1 Corinthians 15:1-10, Proverbs 28 Act If you have a habit of telling lies, repent from it today and renew your mind with truth from God’s Word.
