#TALKINGSESSION 14TH SEPTEMBER. KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD. Dear Father, thank You for the honour You’ve placed on my life. Thank You for Your grace, Your love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit! I never lose sight of the truth of Your Word and who You’ve made me in Christ. My words are inspiring; I’m excellent in my communication, everywhere and every time. Thank You for setting up Your Kingdom in my heart. With my heart, I envision and apprehend the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life. Thank You for the glorious life You’ve given me. This life is at work in every fibre of my being, making me a super-being. Through the power of Your Spirit which works mightily in me, I’ve become a distributor of eternal verities to everyone in my world. I am not ordinary; eternity is set in my heart. Therefore, I’m not moved by what I feel, see or perceive through the senses! I’m born again and full of the Holy Ghost, with the very life of Christ in me. I’m from the government of heaven; my steps are ordered of the Lord! My mind and affections are set on the Lord and things pertaining to Christ, His Gospel, and eternal Kingdom. The Spirit of the Lord mantled my heart and I am grateful for the opportunity to be constantly filled with the Spirit. The anointing I’ve received of the Lord abides in me forever, and that anointing teaches me all things and makes me fruitful and productive in every endeavour. I go forth today by the anointing to influence and impact my world for the Gospel, in Jesus Name. Amen. SPEAK IN OTHER TONGUES NOW o Keep saying it, publish it everywhere; noise it abroad! THE CORNET DAILY DEVOTIONAL SCATTERED ABROAD Tuesday 14th September, 2021 Pastor David Omongole ”Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.” (Acts 8:4 KJV) Before Jesus ascended, He said to His disciples, “…ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” for what purpose? “…and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 KJV) When they were filled with the Holy Ghost, they spoke in tongues, preached the Gospel and won many souls; but they remained in Jerusalem. Great persecution rose up against them and they were scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria (Acts 8:1); this is exactly where Jesus had told them to go and be His witnesses. They hadn’t taken heed to the words of Jesus but because they were speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit aligned them to divine purpose. When persecution came, He made it work to their advantage. Our theme verse tells us that those who were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the Word. The Message version says “Forced to leave home base, the Christians all became missionaries. Wherever they were scattered, they preached the Message about Jesus.” (Acts 8:4 MSG) Hallelujah! The Greek word translated “scattered abroad” means “to sow throughout” just like a farmer who plants millet through broadcasting; he scatters the seeds over the land and they start to sprout and grow. Likewise when you are scattered abroad; you are sown like a seed. So wherever you go, you are supposed to grow and bring forth the precious fruit of souls. That’s what the Lord expects of you child of God. Don’t wait for circumstances to force you to move; simply act on the Word of God and go everywhere preaching the Gospel. CONFESSION God has anointed me with the Holy Ghost and power to be His witness on earth. I go everywhere preaching the Gospel both in convenient and inconvenient circumstances. The Holy Spirit works with me, convicting many to believe and receive Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. I am a committed labourer in the end time harvest, therefore I bring forth the precious fruit of souls in abundance. Glory to God! FURTHER STUDY Isaiah 32:15 KJV Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. John 4:35-36 NLT Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields are ripening all around us and are ready now for the harvest. (36) The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!
