Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for granting me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You; the eyes of my understanding are enlightened to the realities and truths of Your glorious Kingdom. And now, I know the hope of Your calling and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance for me in Christ. I thank You for the great life of righteousness, health, wealth, prosperity and success that I have in Christ. I’ve received Your Word into my spirit today, and I am cleansed and vitalized through and through, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Every fibre of my being is inundated with divine life. Thank You precious Father, for blessing me in all things, and making me a blessing to my world. I declare that I am mightily blessed today as I seek opportunities to give, for You’ve said in Your Word, it’s more blessed to give than to receive. Hallelujah. I am a package of blessings. I’ve received the invocation of the ability, favour, and the direction to prosper. My steps are ordered of the Lord; I am at the right place at the right time, meeting the right people, and doing the right things. I am always at the centre of God’s perfect will. Doors of opportunities are opened unto me by the Spirit of God; for I am the seed of Abraham, and his blessings rest on me! I am like a tree by the stream, well-watered and ever-flourishing, bearing fruits of righteousness and experiencing luxuriant growth in every area of my life. THE CORNET DAILY DEVOTIONAL HIS WORD SHALL NOT RETURN VOID Friday 14th May, 2021 Pastor David Omongole ”For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither…So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11 KJV) Amazing! This is exactly what happened with Jesus. He came as the Word of God, and entered into the womb of Mary by the agency of the Holy Spirit. John 1:14 KJV says “…the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” When He was on the cross, Jesus said “It is finished!” That shows us that He did not return to God without fulfilling the purpose for which He was sent. Likewise you can proclaim the Word of God and it will not return to you void. Did you ever pray about something and then you prophesied; you declared the Rhema of God and a few days later you dreamt of it? That dream was the word you spoke returning to you; it was the confirmation that it is done. Glory to God! Someone may say “But I have not yet seen it physically.” Well, when Jesus came, He had been sent to save the world. But by the time He declared that “It is finished!” people had not received Him as their Lord and Saviour. Even the disciples who had walked with Him for three years had left Him (except for John). So it wasn’t about what was on the outside, He spoke according to His faith. Maybe you declared something after praying alone in your house and then someone called you and gave you a similar word. Or you went to fellowship with the brethren and the Lord spoke the same thing to you through another person. That is the word returning to you; God is telling you that He has fashioned those words you spoke into a reality. How beautiful! That is how the sword of the Spirit works. God says something, you believe it and speak it forth. That Rhema shall not return void; it shall accomplish the purpose for which it is sent. Glory to God! CONFESSION I am confident that the words God has spoken concerning me shall not return void. I boldly declare the same words because they are already settled in the heavens and the Lord watches over them to perform them. My life is a manifestation of God’s grace and glory because His Word is working mightily in me and through me. Glory to God! We are interceding for our country Nigeria, declaring that our nation is brought into alignment with the prophetic timing, plan and purpose of God as delivered to us in the scriptures. Declare with the authority in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that we forbid and overturn Satan’s plan and agenda to control the governments and systems of our country before the time. Pray for every citizen of Nigeria; declare a massive burst of salvation in every city, town and village of Nigeria. Declare an end to demonic manipulations that keep men resistant to the gospel. The Lord reigns and the earth trembles. Psalm 29:11 ?? Pray against plans to continually use the youths as mercenaries and agents of violence in our nation, declare that these plans will come to nothing. Pray that salvation will break out in various camps of these youths and many of them will boldly proclaim the gospel. Psalm 140:8 ??Pray against the plan to create a tribe of fully vaccinated versus those who are not in order to infuse more pressure on the church and Christians. #RhapsodyOfRealitiesToday ? THERE’S MORE GRACE FOR YOU There’re those who think what they need is a double or more anointing. But there’s no place in the Word of God where we’re admonished to ask for more or double anointing; what God gives is more grace. The life that He’s brought us into is one of grace to grace (John 1:16); grace heaped upon grace. It’s amazing how some people outrightly ignore or don’t recognize the grace of God. There’s so much grace that you can take advantage of. But grace must be recognized, celebrated and used. Think about it: God’s throne is called “The throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16). It says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” In other words, you can “take” whatever grace you require. You have to determine which grace you need, because there’re several different “graces.” Is it the grace for soul winning, or giving (2 Corinthians 8:6-7 NIV)? Which grace do you want? This is a special season in God’s calendar; He’s releasing more grace! Take advantage of that special grace even now for your work, your family, your finances, leadership, etc. Do you realize it requires grace to deal with certain people and handle certain situations? There’re situations that you may not have been able to handle with your current level of grace. But with more grace, you can! That means the Lord is promoting you to the next level, with more grace for your new level. Receive more grace for these times, and walk in dominion and absolute victory and mastery over circumstances, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Glory to God! CONFESSION Dear Father, I thank you for the different graces available to me in Christ. I take advantage and make full proof of the special grace you’ve given me to be a success in life, my job, ministry, finances, and in soul winning.
